D’Huy Engineering, Inc. (DEI) has been the Engineer of Record providing total Facilities Engineering, Design and Project Management to the Bethlehem Area School District for over 25 years.  Projects range in size and complexity between roof repairs and boiler replacement to multi-million dollar phased renovation and addition projects.

DEI has also completed Operation and Maintenance projects for the District including synthetic sports fields, roof replacements, electrical switchgear procurement and new teledata services.  D’Huy is the District’s Facility Engineer and is ultimately responsible for overseeing the completion of all projects and the maintenance of the District’s 25 facilities including:

• Roof replacements
• Paving reconstruction
• Stormwater management
• Security camera systems
• Secure entrances
• Solar energy
• Mechanical system upgrades
• Data center and UPS upgrades
• Lighting system and control upgrades
• Building envelope improvements and masonry repairs

DEI has also provided design and construction phase services for four major new, renovation and addition projects:
• Liberty High School Renovations ($65M)
• Freedom High School Additions ($26M)
• New Northeast Middle School ($26M)
• New Broughal Middle School ($50M)

Currently DEI is providing construction management services for the $46M new Nitschmann Middle School. In addition, DEI has designed, managed bids and recently provided construction management services for the $800,000 track and turf field replacement at Liberty High School, and a new $3,000,000 turf field and track at Freedom High School.
