Frank Banko Stadium

Frank Banko Stadium

After eleven years as the primary playing surface for Bethlehem Area School District, the synthetic turf field was ready for a replacement. The Frank Banko Stadium, located on the Liberty High School Campus, is used year round for daily sports practices, gym classes, District XI events, community groups, and the area’s largest band, the 365 member Grenadier Guard. D’Huy Engineering, Inc. worked closely with the District to plan and coordinate the replacement of the high demand, high profile stadium synthetic turf field. D'Huy oversaw the installation of the new state-of-the-art turf during the summer of 2016. The turf field, along with a new track surface and additional stadium upgrade, was in place and ready for use for the beginning of the fall 2016 sports season. The Bethlehem Area School District Stadium will proudly continue its role as one of the premiere high school stadiums in Pennsylvania.
